This course is a re-certification course for personnel who have completed an Initial AHA BLS Provider Course and is returning to update their Certification Card. A valid BLS card must be presented to the instructor in the classroom prior to the class or the student will be required to complete and retake an Initial AHA BLS Provider Course.

This course is an Instructor-led, hands-on class format that reinforces skills proficiency.
There is an emphasis on Scene Safety, Chain of Survival, High-Quality CPR, the use of an AED, and Team Dynamics. This is a Video-based course with real-world scenarios. This course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages. Included in this course is the ventilation of a patient utilizing a personal barrier device or bag valve mask and oxygen.
Upon successful completion of a Skills and written test, students will receive a 2-year AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) digital certificate/eCard.
