AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider training gives public safety professionals and healthcare providers the skills needed to react to breathing and cardiac emergency situations in an adult, child, or infant patient. HeartCode BLS is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA BLS Course.
Blended learning is a combination of eLearning (online portion), in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner online, followed by a hands-on skills session. AHA HeartCode BLS includes 10 modules, 5 eSimulations, and two video tutorials.
